WHO WE ARE
We are the National Nutrition and HIV/AIDS Social Rehabilitation (NNHSR), a Social Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) registered in Malawi under Reference No RG20754/IM/5.2005Z.
Our Vision
Our vision is to have well and adequately nourished families and working towards eradicating HIV/AIDS new infections. We recognise that Nutrition is a crucial component of any development plan a country may aspire to.
We aim to achieve optimum nutrition requirements for vulnerable people in the chosen areas in order that they maintain/attain healthy lifestyles.
Our Mission
Our mission is to improve the nutritional status by reducing malnutrition among the vulnerable groups of the chronically ill (HIV/AIDS), the elderly, pregnant women, lactating women, and children under six years old.
We aim to achieve this by:

Our Governance
Our Governance Structure comprises a Management Team of three led by the Managing Director and Founder. This Team is responsible for the delivery of all of our programmes through all staff and volunteers involved with the organisation. Ultimate responsibility for strategy and direction rests with the Board to whom the Managing Director is answerable.
Our Services
Our programmes are currently delivered through three districts of Malawi, notably in the capital city, Lilongwe; the country's main commercial city, Blantyre; and the city of Zomba, the old capital. In Lilongwe our most extensive programmes have been delivered in the highly populated shanty town of Kauma. In Blantyre, we have concentrated in the rural are of Mpemba. In Zomba, we have been most active in Mikulumu village where the first cohort of participants graduated in 2025. The following is a snapshot of the three areas work.
